Just finished praying. It is a auspicious moon tonight. The altar decoration turned out so beautiful. Loads and loads of flowers. Something about the gold deities glistening amidst the soft flowers is divine. The smoke from the burning charcoal and benzoin has filled the house ... and I absolutely love it. We use the modern incense sticks for daily prayers ... but we stick to the traditional charcoal sambrani for Fridays and auspicious days.
